Week 24 - Chennai - December 1, 2014

What a crazy week!  The days flew by this week and it was pretty awesome.  We had our friend Alex come to church on Sunday and after the meetings he came up and asked us how he could become part of the missionary work that we are doing.  He even has his own driver so he picked us up and took us to his home and it was awesome.

On Thursdasy we were kind of bummed because no one invited us over for dinner but we had to have found like the only turkey in Chennai!  It was only 300/kg and Elder Farr really wanted it so he cashed out.  But after we realized that we didnt even have an oven to cook it in.. Lo and Behold our Branch Mission Leader had a little microwave oven that we were able to borrow.  I will put the before and after pictures in but it was awesome.  

We taught people from pretty much every background possible this week so it was a mix of excitement explaining the Gospel to everyone.  

On Friday, we went to the Chapel in Saidapet and had a mission conference call about the Church's plans for the Christmas seasosn and they are putting a lot of time and effort and money into spreading this gospel literally everywhere.  Please visit http://www.mormon.org/christmas

The video is awesome and its a great way to talk to people about the church.  

Finally the week ended with this huge head cold yesterday but I just shook it off and manned up.  They got some sweet drugs in India that dope you up.
